The Safetykleen Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Philippe Mauguy as Chief Executive
Earlier this year, the Board of Safetykleen (“the Company”), Europe’s largest service provider for parts washers servicing both the automotive and industrial sectors, was notified by Steve Brain, the current Chief Executive, that he wished to retire following 25 successful years with the Company. The Board has spent the past few months determining Steve’s succession and is pleased to announce the appointment of Philippe Mauguy as Chief Executive.
Philippe Mauguy brings over 25 years of European industrial and service experience to Safetykleen. Most recently he was Executive Board member with responsibility for France and UK at Selecta, one of Europe’s leading vending machine operators. Previously he was President, Continental Europe at United Technologies Corporation (UTC) Fire and Security where he lead an £800 million revenue business.
Steve Brain the current Chief Executive will remain on the board and will work to ensure a smooth handover. It is expected that Philippe will begin as full time CEO on 1st January, 2014.
